Google Scholar

Statistics Texts

Alan T., a fantastic statistics lecturer from Macquarie University, kindly recommended to outstanding statistics texts to me:

“Statistical methods for psychology” by David C. Howell, and
“Applied multivariate statistics for the social sciences” by James P. Stevens.

Both of these were written with such clarity and insightfulness - they are actually statistics texts I will return to again [...]

Research databases

Today the presenter at a research seminarĀ  explained the difference between research databases offered by theĀ  Macquarie University library. Publisher databases like Informaworld, Science Direct, Sage and Informit were preferred over secondary databases due to their speed and reliability.
